Great British Menu is back. The full line up of UK chefs taking part has been revealed and what a melting pot of talent it is. Hitting the small screen in their bid to tickle the judges’ taste buds and convert viewers into customers is a host of Michelin winning chefs, Acorn awards alumni, and The Caterer cover stars.
The theme has also been revealed and this year GBM will be celebrating 100 years of the Women’s Institute. The brief arguably has the potential to make or break each installment of this perennial prime time favourite and one with such potent connotations will be no exception.
Creativity and culinary talent must go hand in hand for success to beckon and it will no doubt be crucial for the chefs to stretch their imagination beyond putting a pot of homemade jam on their puds, or Jerusalem artichokes on their mains.
