December is a popular month for eating out, whether it’s meeting up with old friends or spending time with family. With Christmas just around the corner, I have compiled a list of restaurants that are embracing the festive season.
Phil Howard’s Chelsea restaurant is celebrating by offering a festive set lunch until 23 December. The lunch consists of three courses and costs £50 per person.
Dishes include goose spring roll with dressed red cabbage, cumberland dressing and a damson dip; clementine cured salmon with dressed crab, pickled cucumber, crème fraîche and dill; roast cod with a “stuffing” crust, creamed cabbage, kohlrabi and bacon; haunch of roe deer with crushed roots, a tart fine of quince and green peppercorns; and Jersey curd cream with cranberry, clementine and oatmeal crumble.
The restaurant is closed between 24 – 28 December.
