Blanc

Chefs Bruno Loubet and Raymond Blanc will come together for an exclusive dinner at Loubet’s restaurant Grain Store in King’s Cross on 31 July.

The Summer Feast aims to showcase seasonal and sustainable produce. The pair will serve a vegetable-focused meal using little meat and dairy, including vegetables from their own gardens.

At the two-Michelin-starred Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in Oxfordshire, Blanc cultivates herb beds with 70 traditional and exotic varieties. He also has a two-acre vegetable garden which produces over 90 types of vegetable, a mushroom valley and a 4,000 strong orchard of French and English heritage apples.

Loubet – a protégé of Blanc, worked as head chef at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons in the 1980s. At his home, Loubet’s garden is packed with herbs, vegetables and fruit trees.

Tickets cost £60 per person and will include a sharing menu of four courses plus a welcome drink. Tickets to the Summer Feast can be purchased online at Grubclub.com from 7th June.
