Top chefs Simon Hulstone and Robert Wiedmaier are set to take up residence at new pop-up food experience the Chef’s Penthouse. 
Hulstone, the chef-proprietor of the Michelin-starred Elephant in Torquay, and Wiedmaier, owner of Marcel’s in Washington DC, will offer an exclusive ‘at home’ experience for one week at Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living on Park Lane.
Between them they will cook eight-course tasting menus for up to 14 guests at lunch and dinner from 31 March to 4 April, with some services featuring the pair together, and others where they will cook on their own.

Commenting on his involvement in the new venture by TLF Worldwide, the team behind the Cube pop-up on top of the South Bank centre in 2012, Hulstone said he was delighted to be able to showcase South West produce, much of which is sourced on the restaurant’s farm.
“London is a fantastic place to dine and I always enjoy cooking here,” he said. “Chef’s Penthouse at Grosvenor House Apartments is particularly exciting and I look forward to showcasing the flavours of Devon in this relaxed yet luxurious setting.”
Wiedmaier, who was named Washington’s Chef of the Year by the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington, added: “I am extremely excited to be taking part in the Chef’s Penthouse at Grosvenor House Apartments. What a treat to be able to interact with our guests in such an amazing setting!” 
The Chef’s Penthouse will run for lunch and dinner service from Monday 31 March until Saturday 4 April. Tickets are priced from £250 per person for lunch, and £275 per person for dinner, inclusive of food, drinks, service and VAT. For more details: visit www.chefs-penthouse.com
