Will Beckett and Huw Gott, co-owners of Hawksmoor, have announced the line-up of the sixth charity dinner hosted at Hawksmoor Guildhall on 29 October, which aims to raise money for Action Against Hunger.
For one night only, group executive chef Richard H Turner will be joined by: Skye Gyngell, head chef of Spring at Somerset House; Merlin Labron-Johnson, head chef of Michelin-starred Portland in London’s Fitzrovia; Robin Gill, chef proprietor of The Dairy in Clapham, London; and Tomer Amedi the head chef of The Palomar in Soho, London, who will cook a course each.
Each course will be paired with wines from Sommeliers Choice – a bespoke wine merchant based in Orpington, Bromley.
The Hawksmoor charity dinner has raised over £350,000 for Action Against Hunger in the last five years.
Beckett said: “We take fundraising and charitable donations really seriously, but we also take our responsibility to put on a cracking evening very seriously as well. This year’s restaurants are so incredibly ‘hot right now’ that we feel like an Icarus as he headed towards the sun.”
