Food service distributor 3663 – which recently launched five “around the world dishes” to celebrate this summer’s global events – has won accreditation from the Craft Guild of Chefs for another 17 of its own-brand frozen meals.
“In the past, own brand products have sometimes been perceived to be of a lesser quality in comparison to branded products but this accreditation just goes to show how great the quality of 3663′s Own Brand products are, in addition to being incredibly practical, easy-to-use and offering caterers excellent profit margins,” commented Nicky Dixey, own brand manager at 3663.
The group’s recent quintet of round-the-world dishes represented a combination of new own-brand ready-to-serve meals and recipes using own-brand ingredients.
The dishes covering five continents of the world were: Seafood Chowder for the Americas; Chicken Tagine for Africa; Giant Meatballs in a Spicy Sauce for Europe; Thai Chicken Cakes for Asia and Lammington Cakes for Oceania, or the islands of the Pacific Ocean.
