The Craft Guild of Chefs (CGC) is delighted to announce another top name industry brand to get behind its Cooking As A Family workshops. Bernard Matthews Foodservice is the latest company to lend their support to the scheme.
The events, which were trialled earlier in the year, see CGC members visit school classroom kitchens to get parents and guardians cooking with their children. Bernard Matthews will be providing turkey for the events, including at the first event in 2012 taking place on 26th January at the Simon Balle School in Hertfordshire.
The summer workshops will also use turkey from Bernard Matthews to showcase to families that turkey can be used to create a whole host of favourite dishes and with a wide range of cuts available is certainly not just a festive bird. As well as being ultra versatile, skinless turkey breast is also low in fat and saturated fat.
