Hospitality in the South of England has a new face in the re-launched, revamped and revitalised Hotel & Catering Show 2013, Bournemouth 5-6th March (

The two-day event and exhibition, taking place at the Bournemouth International Centre, will play host to over 2,000 senior hotel executives, chefs, restaurant and bar proprietors and hospitality business leaders from throughout the South of England.

The new organisers of the Hotel & Catering Show have made the event free to attend for hospitality professionals with all demonstrations and seminars also free of charge.

The event will open with live demonstrations, an open kitchen featuring a leading team of chefs in action and a keynote seminar session from Deirdre Wells, Head of Tourism for the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.  Ms Wells will speak on tourism holding the reins for economic recovery in the South of England and will be followed by a host of leading commentators and authorities covering issues such as upcoming consumer trends, digital and social media marketing, customer service and training and much more throughout.

Michelin Star chefs performing demonstrations during the event include the likes of Tom Kerridge, Nathan Outlaw, Paul Ainsworth, Simon Hulstone, Hywel Jones, Russell Brown, Matt Gillan and Chris Staines.

The Hotel & Catering Show is also hosting its first-ever culinary challenge in an open kitchen and 60-cover restaurant judged by leading Hampshire chefs: Luke Matthews and Luke Holder.

Running alongside all this is an exhibition with over a hundred suppliers showcasing masses of food produce, equipment and solutions including the latest innovations and new-to-market product launches from the South of England, the UK and Europe.
