The moment of truth is almost upon us and boy it’s getting exciting! It’s now only one week to go until the most anticipated culinary contest on the calendar is served up at The Restaurant Show. On October 11th we will find out who really has what it takes to be crowned The National Chef of the Year 2011.
The eight finalists have now all chosen their ingredients from the mystery basket and have submitted their menus for the final. The battle to impress the judges will see dishes, which include among other things – mackerel, pigeon and scallops – primed to hit the flavour highs.
